THE LAST TIME WE PLAYED OUTSIDED
I didn't know it would be the last time.
The last time we ran barefoot on the grass. The last time we laughed until our stomachs hurt. The last time we believed our parents would always be there.
No one tells you when ordinary moments become memories.
One day, your favorite toy is left in a corner forever. One day, your childhood home belongs to someone else. One day, your mother's voice is heard only through old videos. One day, the family photo can never include everyone again.
Life doesn't steal the big moments first.
It quietly takes the little ones.
The goodnight kiss. The Sunday lunch. The long conversations with grandparents. The hugs we thought would happen again.
We're so busy chasing tomorrow that we forget today is becoming someone's "I miss those days."
So if your parents call, answer.
If your grandparents are still waiting for your visit, go.
If your children ask you to play, put your phone down.
Years from now, they won't remember how busy you were.
They'll remember whether you were there.
The greatest regret isn't losing money.
It's realizing you had enough time... but didn't spend it with the people who mattered most.
❤️ Before you scroll...
If someone you love is still alive today, send them a message.
Not tomorrow.
Today.
Because love is most valuable while the people we love can still hear it.
Question for everyone: If you could relive one ordinary day from your past, which day would you choose, and why?
