The farmer in the past just needed two eyes and a bit of clever mind to forecast the weather, just by looking outside at the sky! Putting his nose in the air or just feel it with the skin. So by just listening to nature

Now that there are much less farmers in the world and more supermarkets, the people are watching TV to listen to the weather forecasts. Weather specialist forecasts it by computers, they have to calculate, they even have to study for it which weather it is going to be....
Everyday people are curious about what weather it is going to be and why?
Yes, that is because they want to know what clothes they must wear, if rain is predicted they should take an umbrella ....

So this old skill is almost vanished, isn't it?
