Sorry I was absent... I have a note...

Hey everyone. This is the first of what I hope will be many new posts.

No, I'm not feeling all that much better, but I've decided I have to try to get back onto this, if only for the sake of my writing.

I've done nothing for the majority of the year, no writing, no editing, nothing, and here's why.

I started with a general feeling of 'blergh' - just not up to the mark, lethargic and listless. I tried to shake it off a few times, but began to feel dizzy, and tired at odd times of the day. I drove over to my daughter's house one morning and noticed my new glasses seemed to be reacting strangely with the windscreen of the car (yes, I know, that was a daft thing to think). I finally realised it wasn't my glasses or the car windscreen, but my eyes. I had double-vision and so realised it wasn't safe to drive.

I also have an issue with lymph nodes close to the nape of my neck and a buzzing in my right ear.

I've been to the doc a couple of times but an appointment to see a consultant is not scheduled until mid-December. I may have to go back soon.

On a lighter note, I've started an Etsy shop Link because the only thing I've felt up to doing is crochet - I don't get affected by the dizziness when sitting down (I don't stumble or fall) - and watching television (Crime documentaries are favourite right now, as well as historical documentaries) is just about do-able if I don't try to read subtitles.

The crime and historical documentaries have given me a few ideas on stories, but I can't promise the volume I once wrote. Even this post is making my eyes ache, so I'm going to give it a rest for a while.

One drawback of this dizziness is that I can't put a lot of work into the online shop. This is a shawl/scarf I have to write a description for... I chose to write on Steemit instead.

This is a dragon egg bag/purse. I made one for Glenn's wife's birthday and I've not delivered it yet. Sorry @alienbutt, I'll get over to see you soon!
