1Pe 4:8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 1Pe 4:9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging. 1Pe 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

EVERYTHING WE HAVE IS ON LOAN FROM GOD. WE HAVE A STEWARDSHIP AND WE WILL ACCOUNT FOR WHAT WE DID WITH WHAT WE ARE TRUSTED WITH. NOT THAT IT IS ALL ABOUT JUDGMENT DAY AND THIS ACCOUNTING WE WILL ALL HAVE TO MAKE, BUT THE JOY WE HAVE TO BE ENTRUSTED BY GOD AND THE BENEFITS IN THIS LIFE AMD IN THE ONE TO COME.

A place of influence

Everything we have is on loan from God. It is not our money. Not even the notion that 10% or the tithe is God’s and rest is ours, is accurate. It is all His! Our family is entrusted to us. They are not “our kids”. They are on loan and we are stewards. I look at my own life and see how many times I have failed or fallen short of taking the best of care of what God has trusted in my hands. I am thankful for forgiveness and grace. One thing that is clear to me is that this is serious and we should not take lightly the things God has put in our hands.
