Treading through the woods in my hoods
Treading through the woods in my hoods,
Sinking in and in, into this thinking loop,
I’m here cause I wanted solitude,
Away from the pains and destitute.
The woods gives me solitude,
And it’s amazing I know where to come to,
To find peace, to find solitude.
The calmness and serenity of the wood,
Brings nothing but calmness to my soul,
My shattered and battered heart,
Flooded with restoration and light.
It’s serenity is terrifying sometimes,
Send cold shivers down my spine at intervals,
The terrifying sound of the wind.
A cold and humid temperature from within,
Messes with my sanity,
But I will keep coming to the wood in my hoods,
Because it’s where I get solitude,
And, relieve my stress and anxiety.
