Some Old Memories
We often recall old memories that make you happy and help forget present sorrows for a while. These all photographs are captured during Durga Puja festival. It is mostly celebrated in the month of October or sometimes in September every year.
Though this festival is celebrated all over India, Kolkata is very famous for Durga Puja celebration. You can visit Kolkata city during Durga festival to see how people celebrate it. The whole city is decorated with lights. Several puja pandals are made in the city. It is difficult to visit all pandsls in a single day. However, people mostly visit four days that are named as Saptami, Astami, Navami, and Vijaya Dasami. However, now-a-days people started visiting Durga idol from Panchami.
If you have money in the pocket, then eat whatever you want to eat because several food stalls are setup during the festival. If you have money in the pocket, then you can enjoy puja happily.
During this festival, Kolkatans move on the street whole night to visit Pandals and see the goddess Durga.
