Flood Control Suggestion

I had chatgpt draw up something I had in mind. The idea is to replace powerlines with cyclindrical tubes that can suck in flood water.

Once the water reaches a certain level it will automatically trigger the suctioning power of the flood poles and trap the water inside the poles. At the same time there wi ll be a heater and an evaporator fan at the top.

These poles will be useful for flood prone areas and those at the foot of mountains and valleys and solves the problem of flash floods and heavy rain downpour.

I think it is easy to execute.

The only drawback on chatgpt's drawing is that it depicted the poles a bit too thin. I was thinking a bit more girth but I guess the idea is there.

Well, if somebody will take it seriously maybe they could add a water purifier element to it so it becomes potable. As you know after the flood, power and water services may not return right away.
