Forging. Starter pack.

Dear friends!

As you know Forging starts on MainNet on February 12. All our community is looking forward to this day so as to try it as soon as possible. The most active participants have already tested forging with TMH coins.

The system is based on a hierarchy of different roles with different functions important for MainNet stable operation and decentralization. Of course, each user can choose the role with suitable requirements.

Now two roles are available: a wallet (#MetaGate) and a proxy node (Peer Node).

Option 1: #MetaGate

Forging and delegation through the wallet are available for any user. You can use #MetaGate on Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. You just need to have 100 #MHC on your wallet balance to forge and 512 #MHC (min) to delegate.

Option 2: Peer Node

A proxy node options need a more serious approach. As other servers in the #MetaHash network, this node can be set up only on Linux base. For that, you need at least 1000 #MHC. But please be aware that this will not give you any reward if your balance is less than 100,000 #MHC. Recommended requirements for the hardware: Intel Core i3 7100, 4G RAM, 500GB HDD Digital Ocean droplet / Linode VM with internet speed of 100 mb\s and more. Other roles will be tested step by step in the TestNet before launching on MainNet, though some requirements are available already now. For example, to become an active node, you need to delegate 1.000.000 #MHC (min) as a Master (Core) / Slave / Verification / Blockchain Node.
