Hutchison Effect: Steel Rod Bends, Levitates, and Flies Upwards


In this video I have posted the famous 1988 bending steel rod Hutchison Effect experiment, which Paul Mueller of the @INVENTOR3 channel currently has in his possession! He also has the solid steel cylinder that turned to jelly from the 1989 footage. These samples are one of the few rare ones that were both filmed during the Hutchison Effect and are currently available. The steel rod bends upwards, wiggles around, rotates, and even shifts horizontally before it literally gets launched vertically! There are a few other Hutchison Effect demonstrations included in this footage as well as a rare 1988 display of many metal samples. John and Nancy Hutchison's dog Mr. EVO also makes an appearance!
