Vortex Math Doubling Patterns: 1248751, 3636, 9999
In this video I show the patterns that arise when we continuously double and take the vortex sum of numbers in the base 10 system. When doubling from 1, we get the 1248751 pattern; doubling from 3 yields 3636, and doubling from 9 just gets 9999. I show this is the case for very large numbers in Microsoft Excel by using the modulo operation function. Again, this is all because multiplying a number and taking its vortex sum is the same as taking the vortex sum first to get a single digit between 1 and 9, and THEN taking the vortex sum. Reducing the domain of infinite numbers to just 9 means we will always obtain such repeating patterns! YouTube - Summary - Notes - Playlist - MES Science playlist
