Chemical Basis of Biology: Atoms, Molecules, and Electromagnetism
In this video I provide an overview of chemistry, atoms, molecules, as well as a deep dive into electromagnetism and light from both a mainstream and alternative aether viewpoints. All biological life are made up of matter which in turn is made up of chemical elements. The smallest unit of an element is an atom and is comprised of a nucleus and one or more electrons bound to the nucleus. From here on, I go over the mainstream definitions of charges, ions, electromagnetic fields, and then provide commentary on how fundamentally they are defined using circular reasoning:
"An electric charge is a property of matter that causes it to experience a force when placed in an electromagnetic field, which itself is produced by electric charges".
Rather than think in obscure mathematical fields, the work of Ionel Dinu and FractalWoman point to electromagnetism being just perturbations of the Aether, a postulated all encompassing fluid that makes up all of reality. Furthermore, the quantization of light into "photons" may also be inaccurate since they define a photon based on its frequency, and hence quantize it based on 1 second of light. Since the unit of 1 second is arbitrary, then it can't be used for quantization. Rather, all "photons" are made up of discrete or quantized energy units. Hence a quanta of energy (instead of light) appears to be the more accurate model.
Finally, I cover the different types of chemical bonding such as: ionic, covalent, and hydrogen bonds.
