Sin Tacones/ Without Heels

No soporto los tacones y no puedo leer sin espejuelos, mi cintura ha llegado al ancho de mis caderas.
Me estoy haciendo vieja, sesentona, amigas vamos para viejas, pero eso no es malo.

Malo es querer subirme en un tacón de aguja como cuando tenía veinte años. Malo es pensar que el omega 3 en pastillas, el aloe vera, las cremas, van a retrasar lo que tarde o temprano llega.

Amigas, nos estamos haciendo viejas, pero eso no es malo. Yo voy a seguir cuidándome, voy a seguir luciéndome, voy a seguir queriéndome, pero no se me va a ir la vida en querer ser lo que ya no soy.

He llegado aquí para vivir, continuar siendo madre, abuela, hermana, tía, amiga .

He llegado para estar, no para quedarme, y mientras tanto voy a pasármelo bien, sin necesidad de tacones.
