I remember as a little kid watching bullfights with grandpa and not thinking much of them. Growing up in a farm, death is well known, but these days I can't say I see these events in the same way.

This needs to stop

Emilio Macías, a loved and respected bull fighter lost the battle. The videos of his impalement are making the rounds, and it's bringing attention once again to this "sport".

It's a sad situation anyway you slice it, but I understand there's a market for this, and that the bulls are bred for fighting. But, it just seems like a vestige of the past, like something we ought to move away from at this point.

I've added a NSFW to this post, because I realize there are people who won't want to see what happened. But, I'll skip to an important detail, as to not add morbidity, which is not my intention.

He survived... and everything points to him making a full recovery.
