I am proud to present the new community account! @thekittygirl and @jamerussell had this great idea and created the account @memorialforest for our community.

What is the purpose of the Hive Memorial Forest Community?

It's about having a place on the Hive Chain where we can express our grief for lost people and animals. Where we can write an obituary for our loved ones that we have lost, giving them a place on the chain forever.

This, I hope, will also help one or the other to leave some of the grief behind. It can be very healing to simply write down experiences.

Of course first of all @memorialforest will curate the posts in this community, but also will go out to look for other meaningful postings to curate. So any delegation to help us growing is welcome.

Who knows what the future will bring?

From my perspective, the Hive Memorial Forest does not need to be a community that grows quickly. That's not what this is about. But it would be nice if everyone who feels the need to express their grief in this way, and also would like to give their loved ones a place here, knows that there is now a place for such postings on chain with a supportive, comforting and loving community behind it.
