Empowering the children's mind:Learning literacy

Hello bonjour my lovlely readers and hiver's!Welcome to my blog dear.Today I am going to share my experience as we teached learning literacy to the children in the community.

In our CWTS(Civic Welfare Training Servic) subject we are assigned to the designated barangays for our Immersion.We have an activity to do benefited by the people in the community and our first activity is the "Learning Literacy " in which we would teached children how to read and write.

The first thing we do, we had our planning and in our planning these includes;the place,age of the children, snacks, and learning materials.When everything is done,we proceed to the place while my other members are the one who bought the snacks for the kids.

When we arrived at the place there are kids and we gathered them inside their chapel.When the kids are already settled in their seats,we started discussing why we are there and what we are going to do,after that we introduced our selves to them.

Without further a do,we started teaching them.First,we made them to read and teached them the proper pronunciation.Second, solving basic math problems and lastly we read them a story in which they needed to reflect their own understanding about the story we've read.

In order for them to cooperate,everytime they made the correct answer they will receive a candy and they were so happy of it.

After it,we proceed to the game, we're the person who grab the pen first will have the chance to answer the math problems and if ever the person got the correct answer, the person will receive another chocolates and candies.

I see the children's competitive faced,the glitters in their eyes everytime they got the correct answer and their genuine smile.With it ,it give us the feeling of fulfillment and I cannot stop my self reminiscing my childhood experiences.I was like them too, where everything seems so fine and no problems and academic pressure to think of–all just happiness and enjoyment.

Anyways,after that we distributed the snacks we prepared for them and left the place with happiness and fulfillment.
