Celebrating Buwan ng Wika

Hello,holla, bon jour my beautiful readers.This blog is related to my previous blog so hope you guys read my last blog.Have a nice day hivers.

Our school celebrated a joyful buwan ng wika as each departments participated the programs competition that includes poster making, slogan, poem, singing duet and pista sa nayon.Each competition should used tagalog language.

Contestants in singing contest should sang a tagalog song.For pista sa nayon each departments should have a mini house( bahay kubo) that relates to the old houses of Filipinos.It should consist of food delicacy that will be judge by the judges.

Everyone was required to wear filipiniaña and barong tagalog and during the program I've seen different styles of it looking like an old people.

In the morning,the opening of program happened.But before the program started we we're busy preparing ourselves for our presentation.

When the program has started everyone is gathered at the gym and after the opening remarks we had a interpretative dance.This is our first time presenting an interpretative dance at school.

After it the contest for poster,slogan and poem making has already started while the students who are didn't compete cook their food delicacy.

After,changing my clothes I immediately help my classmates in cooking.We cook turon(wrapped banana),banana, and grilled banana.We also have coconut juice for our drinks.

My friend and I was cooking turon in the hall way using botane while the others are cooking the other recipe.

When everything is done we display it in our kubo.Then the contest began,while the judges are roaming in each department's kubo the contests for singing duet and the folk dance also started.

As the program end we proceed to our room to ate the left foods that we prepared.We also took a picture with my classmates.
