A Bad Day At Work

Hello, I want to share how I had a bad day at work today, ever since I started work today seems to be the worst of it all, I'm not ungrateful I still thank God for everything.

So I wake up early today,I play some christian music in my phone while I did some house chores, after cleaning I knelt down and pray and then went to the bathroom to had my bath, I went out very early today because I had some deliveries to made, I brush my teeth, warm up my soup and package and step out.

Getting to the shop I open up, clean and pray for customers and for everything to go smoothly, after that I package the delivery, I call the number and she sent her direction and went off to deliver her package, getting to the said location her number was not connecting again, I had to asked around and unfortunately people do not really know her or the name of the place she gave, I waited for like an hour plus before I get a call from a strange number and it turn to be her and she apologize that her phone battery went flat.

I gave her invoice for her to sign and I deliver her goods and she gave me the balance and I return back to the shop, getting to the shop, I continue with my normal schedule, i actually make plenty sales today, one ladies came in and bought something worth 25 thousand naira,

When she left I step out to had my lunch, I got rice and stew with a little beef on top, I ate it and I went back to the shop, getting to the shop sales were not coming in again so I just lay down on the floor and be pressing my phone before I knew,it was already passed 5pm so I had to start packing so that I will made account for the day.

After packing, I started recording the numbers of sales I made for the day, total it and try to balance up when I noticed that I have that I have shortage, I have shortage of half my salary that's to say that the money the lady paid for her delivery was the exact amount I lost, I don't even know how I misplaced the money, whether it fall off or I was robbed in the bus.

I was so heartbroken, I had to call my boss and informed her of the shortage and she said "hope you know what to do" that means I have to paid in the money or it will be deducted from my salary, I balance up and closed for day. It was really a bad day for me.
