Splinterlands: Is it Actually Worth Playing It in 2026?
Greetings to all the readers here,
I have been playing Splinterlands for quite some time now, and today I want to share my honest opinion on whether this game is actually beneficial, especially for people who are looking at it as a financial support or a source of extra income.
First of all, I want to say that Splinterlands is a really interesting game. If you are someone who enjoys card based games, then this is definitely something you should try.
One of the best things about this game is that it is free to play. I am playing it without spending any money so far, and still I have managed to earn a small amount.
To be honest, the amount I have earned is not much. It is close to 1 dollar so far. But for a free to play game, I think that is still something. More importantly, I am learning how the game works.
I strongly believe that if I can earn this much on the free version, then by investing some money into the game, I should be able to earn a few dollars every week or at least every month.
I do not think Splinterlands can replace a full time income, but it can definitely work as a small passive income, especially for someone living in India. Even earning 10 to 15 dollars a month can be meaningful for a student or someone who just wants an extra source of income.
My suggestion to anyone new would be to start with the free modes. Play the game, understand how the battles work, learn about summoners, monsters, abilities, and strategies. Once you understand the game, then you can decide whether you want to invest money or not.
Personally, I have already made up my mind that I am going to invest in the game very soon. Right now, I am just observing and learning where it would make the most sense to put my money.
There are many options available. There are SPS tokens, different cards that can be bought and rented, land that can be purchased which produces income, and several other ways to earn within the game ecosystem.
Of course, the most common and original concept of the game is the play to earn model. You simply play battles, complete daily missions, and earn rewards on a daily and seasonal basis.
Some players even win unique legendary cards that are worth 10 to 20 dollars or sometimes even more. I have seen such cards, and I really hope that one day I will win one too. When that happens, I will proudly say that my time in the game was not wasted.
Honestly, I already feel that I am not wasting my time in Splinterlands. I genuinely enjoy playing it. Every day, when I wake up, one of the first things I do is open Splinterlands and complete my daily battles. That excitement is what keeps me coming back to the game.
I plan to continue playing Splinterlands for a long time. I do not know until when, but I have no plans to stop. My goal is simple. I want to keep improving and become a better player with each passing day.
These are my thoughts about the game. Do you already play Splinterlands? If not, I will leave my referral link so you can join the game and start your own journey.
Thank you
