Study Tour with my students to a tea garden.
Hello friends in this community, this is my first experience in this community and greetings from me, Maytom from Indonesia. I will share with you my journey on Wednesday 18 October 2023 with my students. My students and I went on study excursions, tours and studies. Not just walking around here, we first learned how to manage tea so that it becomes various kinds of tea that are ready to be sold on the market and the tea processed here is world export quality tea.
Not only did we see the processing in the tea factory, we also saw a very wide view of the tea plantation, but unfortunately I didn't really enjoy my trip this time because I had to make sure my students didn't miss the bus and their group, even though there were other teachers coming. but I am fully responsible for my students because this is my work program. Even so, I am not stressed and am actually very happy because my work program can run smoothly. The students on the study tour today apart from gaining knowledge, they also have fun because they get to know tourist attractions they have never visited before.
The stretch of tea plantation was very beautiful, but I didn't have time to continue taking photos considering that we were going to other places which were also not far from the tea production factory area and the tea plantation area itself. And this trip to the tea factory, apart from gaining new knowledge about how tea leaves turn into tea powder, we were also given premium quality tea powder and I was very happy.
The conclusion for my trip last Wednesday was cool, learning doesn't have to be in the classroom by just looking at books and various media imprisoned in a small room, not only is it very saturated, this also triggers stress levels in students. Learning through experience is the best teacher for them and learning like this will make them understand and know the environment much better because they themselves are involved in it. And I am very happy to be able to bring them here to add new experiences for them.
Greetings from Maytom, Indonesia and thank you for supporting me by leaving comments on my posts. Thank you all and thank you to the existing community. And I will be much more active in the future in this group
