Making Banana Rolls
the rainy season comes earlier than its time. usually the rainy season will come in early September but now in early August the rain has started to fall with moderate to heavy intensity. many roads are flooded due to inadequate drainage. and because of the rainy season like this the stomach will be hungry faster than usual but my husband and I were in the mood to eat something warm and a little bit to fill the stomach, so I took the initiative to process the white bread that I had to make a snack on a cold afternoon due to the rain that fell about an hour ago. and let's make this recipe.
Ingredients needed:
1. White bread according to taste in this recipe I use 4 slices of white bread.
2. Chocolate bars to taste because I will use it for topping only
3. 2 ripe bananas. (I use 2 ripe bananas because in this recipe I only use 4 slices of white bread, if the white bread used is a multiple then you will also double the amount of bananas)
4. Olive oil to grease the toffee when baking it later
How to make:
1. I remove the hard edges of the white bread and then I flatten it using a glass so that it is easy to roll it later. Then the next step is
2. I take a banana that I have previously frozen in the refrigerator because I have had it for 1 week. I cut the banana in half lengthwise
3. and then I roll the bread like I am making risoles
4. after that heat the Teflon and add a little olive oil so that the Teflon does not burn too much
5. after the Teflon is hot, insert the bread roll that has been filled with the banana and pay attention to the stove flame, don't make it too big.
6. then turn the bread over so that the brown color is evenly cooked
7. the roll that has started to brown evenly is lifted
8. then I dip the tip of the bread into the chocolate that I have melted before, then after I dip it into the chocolate I sprinkle sesame seeds on it.
9. the roll can be enjoyed.
This roll has a sweet taste from the banana that has been mixed with the bread, then the distinctive aroma of the bread, the sweet and slightly bitter taste of the chocolate and don't forget the crunchy texture and the crispiness of this bread can last up to an hour in the open air with a hot climate like in my city.
Enjoy trying my recipe and thank you for accepting me in this community.
