The Japanese crested ibis might not be the right souvenir to just pick up and bring back home from your next Japan travel.

Many have tried yet all have failed. For good reason!

Why not take Toki home?!

• Toki is really attached to his native soil, expect a big fuzz when trying to tokinap him

• Toki might require an own seat at the airplane, he likes to travel extravagant

• Toki doesn't like to be carried at all, but he likes to peck right into your most precious body parts (be warned!)

• and carrying Toki under your arm will definitely bring you in awkward situations, unless you like it to blow your nose into it's plumage

• Toki will leave a trail of scat, making it easy for him to find his way back and for all his friends to follow you for some unannounced nightly raid

• Toki is not house-trained, look forward to some weeks of horror

• Toki is very sociable and outgoing, ever cleaned after an Ibis party?

• Toki likes to live in a nest on trees, have fun getting your underwear down from the top of your roof

• Toki belongs the species of the "early birds", unless you don't mind waking to the cockcrow

• nevertheless Toki is rather lazy and messy, not sure if you want to always clean behind him

• Toki is very poor at learning new things, no chance to get over the language barrier

• however Toki is a good voice imitator, presume countless of telephone pranks

• Toki is very smart and witty, he will lock you out of your own place at any given chance

• and since Toki is very demanding and dominating, he soon will take over your place and extend the Toki empire
