Hi! I'm new here :)
Hello everyone! My name is Melissa and I am new to this community. My husband plays Splinterlands and he introduced me to PeakD and Hive. I am excited to be here as the censorship is non existent unlike many social media platforms as of late.
A little bit about me: I'm a wife and mommabear. We moved up into the mountains 2 years ago which was a nice change from the suburbs in which I grew up. With the move and becoming a mom and wife I have come across many growing possibilities for myself.
I am currently on a journey of learning all about using plants as medicine, a holistic journey, if you will. Here I will post some natural remedies I create. I'll reference where I learned about them and I would also love to hear from any others who are all about the natural medicines.
I am also starting my journey to mindfulness and meditation practices. I am one who has a history of beginning things and then quitting when it proves to be either to challenging or I don't see results "quick enough". It is a hard habit to break so I have been reading and incorporating mindfulness practice into my every day routines, of course there are some days where I just don't have it, and I try to remind myself that it's okay, it's all part of the practice. So if there are any other people out there who are part of this community I'd love to hear from you on your successes and challenges :)
Seeing what is going on in America and around the world with the people in charge really boils my blood. I will have some posts on my thoughts with that also. I welcome all and any comments regardless if we agree or not.
I am here as a woman, wife, and mom who is on a journey of learning to love myself fully and leave behind 15 years of being a prisoner of my own mind. My blog will be full of different topics as my mind is a busy one. I am excited to be here and to meet so many others throughout this community :)
All photos are mine
