Russians answer to a cheap drift car.

Russia’s answer for a drift car is So cool.
Being around Moscow for about seven and a half years, allows you to see many cool cars, which I never knew much about when living in the Uk.
One trend here is their infamous Lada’s being converted into drift cars.

Seeing this car here outside, near where I live reminded me that, I wanted to tell you :)

Lada’s seem to be very popular because...

• there are 1000s of them! They were made for years.
• they are very basic. Being basic means there is less to go wrong, plus it's easier to upgrade the engine, gearbox etc.
• Rear-wheel drive. Newer cars seem to be going down the front-wheel-drive route.
• Cheap to fix. You can go into many decent car parts places and find whatever you want.
• They also look the part when done up.
