I want something like this... for a fraction of the price. Part 6: Rolls Royce Phantom VIII
This car here is the current Rolls Royce Phantom VIII, the car that is considered the best car luxuary car in the world.
Rolls Royce has always been seen as the pinical of motor cars since 1908, they were built to the highest quality, from the best materials by the best engineers. They are just amazing.
Thou I have always had a soft spot, when BMW took over the brand, I liked them a lot more (don't forget I am a BMW fanboy).
I would really love to own a Rolls Royce Phantom VIII, one day, but they are waaaaaay, out of my price range at the moment.
How much does a brand new Rolls Royce Phantom 8 cost?
"Well, if you have to ask, then you cant afford one!" say the people at Rolls Royce. This saying makes it hard to say how much they are new.
Looking around thou, I found that one dealer in the UK sells them from £363,600 brand new, which is less than I thought, but then again they easily can be specced up to over double that. The Bentley equlivent is much cheaper.

Since we know how much a brand new one costs, how much is a used Phantom 8. They have been on the market since 2017/18.
Well, the cheapest one for sale today is a 2018 one, finished in black and silver. It has only done 8,170 and is sold by a Rolls Royce dealership.
It is up for sale for £264,950
I have no idea this car has lost in value, because I don't know its price new, but if you compare it to the cheapest new one, its lost at least £98,650
So what could I get for, £100,000, but still want to look like the boss...
Well, this is a question I ask myself, because I wanted to start a chauffer company.
The Cheapest Phantom on the market, is a 2004 Phantom with 109,400 miles on the clock, and its for sale for £56,950. Its a bargain, but to be honest its not the spec would go for, as I would want it to be attractive to as many as possible (for business reasons).
If I was spending my own money id buy this one here. Its £73,950. Its low milage, full service history, amazing spec, looks to die for and modern Rolls Royce alloys. The alloys may sound like a silly thing, but the older wheels are hard to get tyres for.
For the other £26K I would either buy either
A 1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph,
or a 70/80s Roller
Bentley Arnage
Bentley Silver Spur
Or my most likely choice a 4 year old BMW 7 series
What would you do?
