Learning to Value Yourself

Hello Scifi welcome to the second edition prompt i will be making my entry today topic I must confess I love it, it speaks a lot about my personality everything anyway before rushing into it the topic is Making Yourself a Priority

You know a lot of us humans haven't even considered looking this aspect of something has not hit us hard we wont learn to make ourself important like people should start respecting us and most of us learn this through the hard way either by beating or something else or shame self anyway we always learn it the hard way.

This brought back memories of my last work place i applied for a assistant cutters job but unknown to me i was doing more than just assisting the cutter i had several work labelled to me along side my normal job which make me weak and collect honestly it was so painful i had to complain severally but they refuse to listen to me.

That was not the only part the other was have been using A year plus inside the work i know most of the work and if any new cutter would come am the one who is supposed to teach them but i will be their assitant while they learn the job from me i dont know if am making sense here the newcomer would be my superior i will be his assitant but am the one still teaching them how to work this got to me i complained to our supervisor why not let me do the work and you guy should get a new assistant they said No and all i was like i cant continue to be slave to them anymore i left the job.

After leaving two days later they called and called they needed me back cause they couldn’t handle the job without me mean whole they know my worth i had to set priority for myself i told them my working conditions if i had to go back they agreed on a raise which i was happy but that raise comes with condition more work load on me i cant kill myself working for someone i stopped the work the following month cause i cant see myself advancing forward.

In conclusion learn to make yourself priority learn to know when to say No at the appropriate time always know your worth.
