The construction of a rare copy of the Qur'an made in silk fabric was completed in Afghanistan.
Officials of this Qur'an hope that this activity will save the tradition of Afghanistan for hundreds of years.
This version of the Holy Quran of 610 has been prepared in a very precise process.

In particular, in the case of small-scale, 38 groups of hefajat and artists worked for almost two years to produce this silk Quran.

The Koran has been made from goat skin and its weight is 8.6 kg, which is made in cooperation with industrialists and most of them are trained around Kabul.

66-year-old calligraphy professor Khwaja Kamruddin Kasti told AFP that our goal in providing this version of Quran is guarantee of survival of the orderly culture in our country.

He also said: Caligraphy is highly respected in Islam and Islamic art and its holiness increases with the Qur'an.

He said: We can not value the industry. Allah has given us the taufiq to work for the Qur'an, which is more precious to us than financial matters.

This Qur'an has been written in the letter of Nasikh, because it takes the process of disbelief from the first period of Islam to the disbelief system.

However, this Quran has spent much of its time in illumination of pages, where it took more than a week for each page to illuminate.
