The storm hit the city with extreme force. Mara clutch the railing so tight, the wind was strong.
“We can’t go on!” she shouted in fear.
“One more bridge,” I replied, eyes fixed on her.
Lightning flashed revealing the city. She yelled, I pulled her in immediately.
We made it.
