Mariposas abusivas / Abusive butterflies

Mariposas rojas,
andan en la zona,
estas son 3 hermosas,
coloridas y pomposas.

No se separan,
juntas volando andan,
sobre la pared blanca,
su belleza resalta.

Red butterflies,
are in the area,
these are 3 beautiful,
colorful and pompous.

They do not separate,
together they fly around,
on the white wall,
their beauty stands out.

Y cuando dejo mi ensalada,
sobre la mesa clara,
las mariposas bajan
y aterrizan entre la zanahoria naranja.

Yo las dejo ahí,
daño no podrían hacer aquí,
me marchó por una vinagreta marfil,
que está en la nevera gris.

And when I leave my salad
on the clear table,
the butterflies come down
and land among the orange carrot.

I leave them there,
they could do no harm here,
I left for an ivory vinaigrette,
which is in the gray fridge.

Y cuando regreso,
con la vinagreta para el alimento,
la ensalada no encuentro,
las mariposas la comieron.

Confie en estas amigas tiernas,
creí que inofensivas eran,
pero, me engañaron con su apariencia
y mariposas abusivas en realidad eran.

And when I return,
with the vinaigrette for the food,
I can't find the salad,
the butterflies ate it.

I trusted these tender friends,
I thought they were harmless,
but, I was deceived by their appearance
and abusive butterflies they really were
