Hanami

My daughter who is into things East Asian told me there was a cherry park in the city. We visited it today.

I greeted them, mentioned the word hanami (literally "flower viewing") and had my pronunciation corrected. Now I know the stress should be on the last syllable. Thanks a lot!

Nice view! Not surprising those houses tend to be a bit on the expensive side despite the yards being nearly non-existent. This place is just a couple of kilometers from the railway station.

Before the rain in the afternoon, it was quite warm today: 25 C. Real summer is here. When these pictures were taken, it was about 18 C.
