Tsurugi Linux Lab 2019.1 ready to download!
The developers of Tsurugi Linux Lab have released the 2019.1 version of this Linux forensic distribution introduced for the first time last year. Despite the Japanese name, the development team is all Italian and Tsurugi joins two excellent Italian distros, Caine and Deft.
This is an optimized version compared to the previous one and several new programs have been added, in particular regarding open source intelligence (OSINT) and computer vision, for facial and object recognition.
Another novelty is the support for write-blocking of devices mounted for acquisition even in the version installed on the hard disk as well as in the version started in live mode.
Tsurugi is also available in other "reduced" versions: Acquire, a 32-bit version for forensic acquisition only and Bento, a portable toolkit for forensic analysis and incident response.
It is certainly a well-made and promising distribution, so what are you waiting to download and try it?!?
