Esperanza sin pasividad | Hope without passivity

El amigo @emiliorios, en una de sus publicaciones nos deja un tremendo post interesante sobre la importancia de la esperanza activa, un tema que bien
vale la pena leer, analizar y reflexionar.
Me considero una persona activa, optimista, positiva, que persiste y resiste, a los venezolanos a nos ha tocado vivir situaciones fuertes, sin embargo la esperanza la mantengo intacta, como dice el refrán la esperanza es lo último que se pierde, en realidad es lo penúltimo, lo último en perderse es la vida.

My friend @emiliorios, in one of his posts, shared a tremendous and interesting article about the importance of active hope, a topic well worth reading, analyzing, and reflecting on.
I consider myself an active, optimistic, and positive person who persists and resists. We Venezuelans have had to live through difficult situations, yet I keep my hope intact. As the saying goes, hope is the last thing to die; in reality, it's the second to last. The last thing to be lost is life.

Creo que los venezolanos dentro y fuera de Venezuela, tenemos la esperanza activa activada valga la redundancia, el tiempo pasa y las soluciones parece que nunca llegan, el país sigue igual mismos problemas económicos, sociales, políticos, salarios insuficiente, constantes apagones, inseguridad, violencia, una dolarizacion e inflación que nos agobia cada día más y nosotros activos no paramos.

I believe that Venezuelans, both inside and outside of Venezuela, have a actively active hope, if you'll pardon the redundancy. Time passes and solutions seem never to arrive. The country remains the same: the same economic, social, and political problems, insufficient salaries, constant blackouts, insecurity, violence, dollarization, and inflation that weighs us down more and more each day, and yet we, active and persistent, do not stop.

Vivimos con la esperanza de que algún día esto va a cambiar, los que se fueron confían en que pronto ocurra un cambio real y puedan volver a su país, los que estamos aquí seguimos echándole pichón a la vida, con ausencias, con miedo, con ansiedad, optimistas, con incertidumbre, vacíos, con cansancio, tristeza, alegrías, valentía muchos sentimientos involucrados, pero siempre buscamos maneras de seguir adelante no nos rendimos, este año muchos volvimos a sentir miedo a un colapso eléctrico, temiendo a un apagón general, miedo a no poder comprar alimentos esta vez no por escasez sino por el alto costo adquisitivo, miedo a enfermarnos y no encontrar servicio médico en hospitales públicos o no tener para comprar las medicinas, sin embargo avanzamos, no nos sentamos a esperar que las cosas o soluciones nos caigan del cielo o que se resuelvan por arte de magia, nosotros no nos quedamos quietos, salimos a buscar las oportunidades y soluciones, nos aferramos a algo llamado esperanza, confiamos en Dios y en nuestra propia capacidad de salir adelante para alcanzar nuestras metas y objetivos.

We live with the hope that one day this will change. Those who left trust that real change will soon happen and they can return to their country. Those of us who are here keep giving it our all, with absences, with fear, with anxiety, optimism, uncertainty, emptiness, exhaustion, sadness, joy, courage—so many feelings involved. But we always look for ways to move forward; we don't give up. This year, many of us felt the fear of an electrical collapse again, fearing a general blackout, fear of not being able to buy food, this time not because of scarcity but because of the high cost, fear of getting sick and not finding medical service in public hospitals or not being able to afford medicine. However, we move forward. We don't sit around waiting for things or solutions to fall from the sky or for them to be resolved by magic. We don't stay still; we go out to look for opportunities and solutions. We cling to something called hope. We trust in God and in our own ability to move forward to achieve our goals and objectives.

Siempre vemos esa pequeña luz en medio de tanta oscuridad, por momentos podemos flaquear pero nos levantamos rápido, pasamos de la tristeza al buen humor, buscamos como sobrevivir a cada situación, confiamos, producimos, inventamos, sembramos, creamos, emprendemos, vendemos, andamos con la esperanza activa sin esperar que las cosas cambien, pasamos de lo simbólico a lo tangible a pesar de las adversidades, nos mantenemos con fe sin tener certezas pero no nos sentamos a esperar que pase la tormenta, vamos a la par con ella, tenemos esa ilusión llamada esperanza que nos impulsa a movernos que nos llena de suficiente fuerza y valor para accionar, somos capaces de sobrevivir a las adversidades, a las noticias, a los cambios, al dolor, a la escasez, a las enfermedades, a 25 años continuos con un gobierno nefasto, seguimos adelante actuando con decisiones adecuadas y dispuestos a creer en los nuevos comienzos, donde empezar desde cero no nos asusta lo hacemos una y las veces sea necesario.
La Esperanza es el pilar que nos sostiene nos mantiene vivos, activos felices, con sueños, con anhelos, con ganas, con fé, los momentos difíciles siempre van a existir es parte de la vida, pero siempre habrá esperanza de que vendrán cosas maravillosas y yo confío que así será.

We always see that little light amidst so much darkness. At times we may falter, but we quickly recover. We move from sadness to good humor, finding ways to survive every situation. We trust, we produce, we invent, we sow, we create, we undertake, we sell. We walk with active hope, not waiting for things to change. We move from the symbolic to the tangible despite adversity. We maintain our faith without certainty, but we don't sit idly by waiting for the storm to pass; we ride it out. We have that illusion called hope that propels us forward, that fills us with enough strength and courage to act. We are capable of surviving adversity, the news, change, pain, scarcity, illness, and 25 continuous years of a disastrous government. We keep moving forward, acting with sound decisions and willing to believe in new beginnings, where starting from scratch doesn't scare us; we do it as many times as necessary.
Hope is the pillar that sustains us, keeps us alive, active, happy, with dreams, with desires, with enthusiasm, with faith. Difficult moments will always exist; it is part of life, but there will always be hope that wonderful things will come, and I trust that it will be so.
