[Eng-Esp] Working on me: Public Speaking Workshop! 🎤👩🏼‍🎤✨

Dedicating time for me is something wonderful, that's why I continue with my personal growth courses and this time the workshop at the academy was about Public Speaking, a very interesting topic that without a doubt I really enjoyed because it helped me to free myself from stage fright and to improve my body expression when speaking in public, it was a wonderful experience and today I share it with all of you!

El curso fue dictado en las instalaciones del 'Cillero', nuevamente de la mano del profesor Rodolfo Martinez, este curso forma parte de la segunda temporada de la academia donde el objetivo es mejorar nuestra oratoria y capacidad de comunicación.

Iniciamos con una dinámica muy divertida, donde cada participante selecciono un papel que tenía una palabra, está palabra debía desarrollarse y presentarse como un tema o ponencia en 5 minutos, fue una actividad genial, a mí me tocó la palabra 'vencer' y bueno a pesar de los nervios logré hacer esa mini presentación bastante fluida.

The course was dictated in the facilities of the 'Cillero', again by the hand of Professor Rodolfo Martinez, this course is part of the second season of the academy where the goal is to improve our public speaking and communication skills.
We started with a very fun dynamic, where each participant selected a paper that had a word, this word had to be developed and presented as a theme or presentation in 5 minutes, it was a great activity, I had the word 'beat' and well despite the nerves I managed to make that mini presentation quite fluently.

Luego de la dinámica empezó la parte teórica del taller, aquí el profesor compartió muchas anécdotas, tips y material audiovisual, su presentación estuvo bastante interesante y captó totalmente mi atención, nos dió técnicas para reducir el estrés y miedo a la hora de hablar en público, también tips para fijar la mirada y no desenfocar y perder la concentración, también nos hablo sobre la autoconfianza, como mantener el tono de voz adecuado y además de la importancia de la eliminación de muletillas al hablar, estuvo genial!

After the dynamic began the theoretical part of the workshop, here the teacher shared many anecdotes, tips and audiovisual material, his presentation was quite interesting and totally captured my attention, he gave us techniques to reduce stress and fear when speaking in public, also tips to fix the gaze and not to lose focus and lose concentration, he also talked about self-confidence, how to maintain the right tone of voice and also the importance of eliminating crutches when speaking, it was great!

Después de mucha información pasamos al break, disfrutamos de un café expreso delicioso y con un ligero toque a canela, además de una rica galleta. Aprovechamos este tiempo para socializar y conocer a algunos participantes nuevos, todos los que estábamos en el curso estábamos animados y muy interesados en seguir aprendiendo y compartiendo juntos.

After a lot of information we went to the break, we enjoyed a delicious coffee with a slight touch of cinnamon, plus a delicious cookie. We took advantage of this time to socialize and meet some new participants, all of us who were in the course were encouraged and very interested in continuing to learn and share together.

Luego seguimos con otras dinámicas y más información, estaba tan interesante el tema que no queríamos que terminará y nos extendimos de la hora, al final nos obsequiaron un mini brownie con un lindo mensaje motivador, este curso estuvo genial y prometí seguir inviertiendo este tiempo maraien mi crecimiento personal para lograr próximamente la mejor versión de mi! Then we continued with other dynamics and more information, the topic was so interesting that we did not want it to end and we extended the hour, at the end they gave us a mini brownie with a nice motivational message, this course was great and I promised to continue investing this time in my personal growth to achieve the best version of me soon!
