My Actifit Report Card: July 13 2026

Hey Actifitters,

With the new week came the new heat wave. It wasn't the worst yet, it will be later in the week, but I was glad I temporarily set up my office downstairs where the A/C keeps it very comfortable. Seems Le Chat prepared for the heat by doing nothing, as opposed to every day when she does nothing...

Of course it was still hot but by waiting until after the sun was behind the trees, we could start our daily without the sun burning us.

Before I even had time to snap a few photos, Kaia was already disappearing in the green forest.

So of course I followed in, in spite of the damn mosquitoes, I so hate these things!

Even with the heat and her injured leg, Kaia is still very alert and ready to chase critters. But she never went too far this time.

And as is now the norm, we finished with a few loops in the neighborhood. The after sunset sky was beautiful as always, and just as it got fully dark, we were back home.

Well, this second heat wave this year is going to get bad, with temperatures going into 3 digits territory (above 38C not accounting for sun and humidity). So I'm predicting a lot of indoor time for us, but who knows, this weather has been so changing.
