My Actifit Report Card: July 11 2026

Hey Actifitters,

We were up and ready slightly earlier than usual yesterday but like Le Chat, we weren't efficient right away.

We did work on the house clean up a bit. As I mentioned many times, that ain't something I excel at, and I hate it! But with possible visitors in August, the house needs a complete make over! It was just a little progress, better than nothing, but after some time, we unsurprisingly preferred going for a walk to the small forest.

Even Le Chat eventually managed to move from her spot on the dog bed and joined us as we were getting out of the forest. Just a little exploration with her sister. I like how they react exactly the same way to any noises, like on the last picture.

We finished with a couple loops in the neighborhood as usual. Beautiful late afternoon sky and clouds.

I still had enough light for a short run. Between the first heat wave and my stomach issues, I hadn't run for 2 weeks. So it was supposed to be a very light and slow run, but in the end, it wasn't too bad, about 7km in less than 40 minutes. I guess my current pace is slow enough that even the lack of training doesn't affect it too much. Of course, it does affect how long I can sustain it, and that's why I need to be a little better in my training. With the second heat wave on the way, probably even worse than first one, it will be difficult this week, but we'll see how it goes.
