A couple of months ago when I was a little more active on steemit, 
However, Rohe credits his mentor, Peter Behrens, for coining the term. Apparently, during his stint at Behrens' office, Rohe brought forth many design ideas for the facade of a seemingly drab factory building to which his mentor replied 'Less is More'.

The young architect adapted the phrase to his own work which has now become one of the most popular architecture aphorisms.
It's been more than 70 years since 'Less Is More' was first coined and we're wondering how the architects of today would adopt the phrase. Featuring
