Story begin. First, I have to quench your fire lust, your pyromania, you beautiful blockchain pyromaniacs! How you doin'? Good...Good...

No fire. Just roofs and just chimneys, one of them just smoking a bit.

Well, a bit more than the regular roofs and chimneys. A bit more vintage, a bit more from a previous age in terms of architecture and function.

One of them is a Samurai. He's composing a haiku right now. He might be ready by the end of the post.

The series was taken in a realm I would like to call MidWood. Eight out of the nine photographs, all but the one with the moss, were taken in Koprivshtitsa, a town of historical significance and keeping its century-old legacy architecture. It's quite secluded. Quite famous on national level. As a place of cultural and historical heritage, as mentioned above. Quite quiet now. But which small place is not? They are, after all, growing smaller and smaller in population.

Sun would appear from time to time but it was mostly cloudy and cold when I visited. Which would only be normal for November. Especially in the mountain. I was not into taking lots of wide-angle views although I did try a few. But I chose to stick to taking photos of details, and...this was the first category that I would present.

Still thinking on what shall be next.
