Fly On The Ice
Once upon a time, there was a little bucket. Rainwater fell in it and insects came to quench their thirst in the warmth of the warm last month before the freezing cold of the freezing cold this month.
As little insects are want to do, they often soaked so bad that they became incapable of getting out of the water before the freezing cold of this freezing cold month came.
THey drowned, they remained in that water and it iced.
Camera Settings:
Aperture F 5.6; Shutter Speed 1/640 sec.; Light Sensitivity ISO 200; Focal Length 50 mm.
Camera Mode:
Sony Alpha 6000 mirrorless with a 16-50 mm kit lens.
The whole surface of the bucketful of water was incredibly beautiful in a strange way, a natural and cruel way, a cold way but transparent and warming.
I did show some details of that same stuff. Sadly, it was a bee before. It's still Here.
What can I say? It was an icy March all over. I mean...this freakin' cold month.
Otherwise...by the way...the photo was taken on the same day that I considered warm enough, at least towards noon, for me to plant a few trees. Of which I also wrote.
When you have no real warm days, and you are accustomed to having those... and conditioned to having those by warmer previous otherwise winter times...
Then a cold day with relatively less wind becomes the new warm.
However, Had I a donkey, I would have put blankets on its back.
Don't be flies!
Yours,
M.
