Bale Up — A Monomad Entry

Greetings, Fellow Black And Whiters!

This is my occasional entry for the #monomad challenge that keeps defending the choice of fine artists to put certain things in monochrome, thus showing us how cool shapes and light are even in the absence of distracting color.

Not that color is bad, not in this case of mine, either. But this is abouc focusing on specific aspects of the visual art, right? A purity of a kind.

As to the ever running challenge, you can find its latest summary Here

Let me get back to what I witnessed and what I was able to capture this season. One of the main topics in my environment was the harvesting season. And its typical sights.

Harvest Season 001 C BW s.jpg
An anthropogenic landscape.

Combining objects and places. In the light of... moments. A rich combination.

Camera Settings:

Aperture F 8;
Shutter Speed 1/250 sec.;
Light Sensitivity ISO 100;
Focal Length 91 mm.

Chance was the true artist here. I am just the one to bring its creation to you.

I guess it's not for everybody to appreciate the coolness of peculiar patterns for their own sake, either. Let me know if you are among the fans of such random creation. Never mind that it was in a way a combination between natural terrain and artificial interference. It did not aim to visually impress. It came out of circumstance and totally different needs. But art is what discovers and tells stories of those needs. It is about the hidden beauty and the special in mundane.

Peace!

Manol
