Who does a child's intelligence come from - the mother or the father?
When a new baby is born, we all say happily - "Look! He has a face like his father!" or "The nose is exactly like his mother!" But do we ever wonder, where did this child's intelligence come from?
Many people think that intelligence is something that is fixed at birth - whether it is there or not. But in fact, the matter is not that simple. Scientists have been researching this for a long time.
Studies have shown that a large part of a child's intelligence comes from heredity - that is, from the genes inside his body. In particular, many scientists believe that some important genes for intelligence come from the mother's side. Because, these genes are on the X chromosome, which comes more from the mother's side.
However, this does not mean that the father has no contribution. The father's role in shaping the child's confidence, thinking style, and interest in learning - all of these things also play a big role.
The most important thing is the influence of the environment. How a child grows up, who he spends time with, and how he learns to learn - these things greatly develop his intelligence. Many times, it is seen that someone who was not born with much intelligence, grows up in the right environment and does very well.
On the other hand, many children may have had a lot of talent, but if they do not get good care, education or inspiration – then that talent is lost.
In a word, a child's intelligence does not come only from the mother or father – it is a mixed thing. The mother's genes, the father's influence and the environment – all together create a child's intelligence.
Intelligence is not only given at birth, but it can be developed further. Therefore, it is not enough to just give birth to a child; you have to give them time, teach them and love him. Only ttheyn will he become intelligent in their own way.
