Y como todo en la vida, una cosa es verlo a través de una pantalla, o inclusive estando en el mismo país, y otra muy distinta es descubrir los detalles desde dentro.

Por ejemplo, las chicas que bailan en primera fila, se llaman passistas y no garotas como suele decírseles, pues garota significa mujer joven, y no necesariamente son bailarinas.

Cada comparsa tiene una sección infantil que es la que abre el desfile de cada escuela de samba, y que a pesar de ser pequeños, llevan su propia coreografía bien aprendida y ensayada.

Igualmente está el grupo de Baianas, que son mujeres de la tercera edad que son aquellas con trajes largos y que por lo general bailan dando vueltas, para lucir su vestimenta. Ellas son las más antiguas de cada escuela, y muchas de ellas fueron passistas en su juventud. Representan el alma de la escuela y van dejando el legado histórico para las siguientes generaciones.

Y un dato muy curioso y hasta puede ser no creíble, es que en algunas de las carrozas van personas sin ropa, e inclusive los más osados tienen sexo durante el desfile dentro de las carrozas. Y esto lo digo... porque yo lo ví!
