Building a Safe Place: Why We Are Raising $15,000 for a Dormitory.
In my previous post, I shared a painful story about some of the children in our school—how they were wrongly accused, unheard, and mistreated despite their innocence.
That story is not an isolated case.
It reflects a deeper reality.
Many of the children we serve come from extremely vulnerable backgrounds. Some are orphans. Some go for days without proper meals. Many lack a safe and stable environment where they are protected and cared for.
When they leave school, they return to uncertainty.
Sometimes to hunger.
Sometimes to neglect.
Sometimes to situations where they are not safe.
This is why we are working to build a dormitory.
Not just a building—but a place of refuge.
A place where children will have: • A safe place to sleep
• Regular meals
• Protection from harmful environments
• Stability to focus on their education
• A sense of belonging and care
We are seeking to raise $15,000 to make this possible.
To some, it may seem like a small structure.
But to these children, it means: Safety.
Dignity.
Hope.
It means they will not have to face the world alone.
We are taking this step in faith, knowing that change often begins with people who are willing to care. Our example can in this manner be carried through years to come.
If you feel moved by this mission, you can be part of building this safe space.
And even if you are not in a position to give, sharing this story can help it reach someone who can.Your effort can be meaningful here even when you see that this may not work, just share it and leave it with someone you know.Your fellow church member,a friend or your church pastor. With many hands involved we can expedite this dream in unprecedented way.
Together, we can create a place where children are not just educated—but protected and valued.
