Laser Cut Locking Mechanism!
I was designing something with a steampunk motif, and as a lark decided to see if it would actually work as a mechanism. It almost did! Even though I only drew it in Adobe Illustrator, not real gears in a CAD package.
That rack and pinion drawing gave me the idea for this, and what do you know, it actually works :)
Again, designed in Adobe Illustrator using the pen tool.
