A House to call our own - Side Hustles

So a couple of weeks ago I wrote a post about our dream to own a home, the challenges we face and how we will be charting the journey as we go, that post can be found Here.

Today I thought I would talk about "side hustles" ... To have any chance of saving for a home you need to have one or more of these! Well this is mine...in the good weather weekends I wake up at 5am and travel to a "carboot sale" this is a UK phenomenon where people go to sell stuff out the back of thier cars, sometimes bargains can be had!

I found these two on sunday (along with other bits but this is thye highlight) They are made from solid silver and weigh 120 grams.

I paid £5 and sold for £65 the same day, take of an extra £5 for fuel and I made £55 for a couple hours work. Not bad!

Does not always work out this way but its nice when it does. Any other finds I will share!

every pound counts, I see each fiver as a few bricks to be honest!
