You can draw your storage plan before you buy anything it allows you the ability to buy items for organization on sale. You can also spread out purchaes to be certain you have the money to buy the organizing items.
Be patient + buy on sale.
Look for items on sale, you can also look online for coupons or codes to get discounts for the organization items you want to buy. Sometimes garage sales have good items to like plastic bins that would be useful for organization.
Find new uses for old items:Rethink uses for common items. Some examples:
Repurpose Easter eggs for snack containers.
Magentic Spice Jars for office supplies.
Ice Cube Trays for jewerly.
Plastic Shower Curtain Hooks for holding sarves or tank tops.
Organizing on a tight budget is not impossible, but you will need to be creative!
