Y2 W51 workout 1c, Back to basics
I planned to attempt Maykell’s x method for the chest press today, using the black band. There is going to be a bit of a learning curve to getting set up with that, so I scratched it and went with my standard form. I stayed with the black band. I think I will do that for awhile.
Someone asked about the order of the exercises and said that, when the app recently reordered the exercises, he immediately went down in number of reps. The way I understand it (and I could be mistaken) is that it really doesn’t matter what order we do the workout in nor does it matter how many reps we accomplish, so long as we are between that 15-40 reps mark. It’s a whole body workout regardless of the particular exercise. someone else remarked he liked to do all the upper body exercises and then the leg exercises, or vice versa. I think the same applies. Since we are going for a whole body workout in every exercise, there isn’t the same focus on upper and lower as there would be in traditional. The focus is more on push/pull. My two cents anyway.
10 minutes elliptical finished off the workout.

Hey! I created a new team on an app called Charity Miles. They have sponsors who pay 10 cents per mile for cycling and 25 cents per mile for walking or running to the charity you select. I selected the Wounded Warrior Project. My team is @Christians_Care. We now have 21 members on our team and have donated over 6000 miles. I invite you to join me.
I give my YouTube vlogs the main title of "Fitness Over 60." It is my goal to build a community of like-minded riders whose purpose is to get and stay active and fit into their senior years. At 60, I see myself as just entering those years. I am not as fit as I would like to be, but neither am I trying to become a superstar athlete. I am becoming more fit all the time with:
-Regular cycling,
-Elliptical exercises
-Frequent resistance training (#x3bar) and
-Ketogenic/Intermittent Fast eating
are the main elements of my fitness plan.
