Under the Gloomy Weather

Under the gloomy weather
I found myself wondering
There are some thoughts to ponder
And I just can't stop smiling.

The sky is gray, by the way
And it's about to rain
I just hope that after the rain
Those odd feelings I have won't stay.

As I look at my watch, the time says it's five.
The rain started pouring as I waited for my friend
Today after the internship, he had a happy vibe
But as he gets out the tricycle in the parking lot, he has to contrive.

Little droplets came rushing through.
People's rushing, sudden slow traffic built up on the avenue
Such a scenario may not be something new
But thankfully, after a few moments, it got smooth also.

As I contemplate what I did today
I enjoyed it, but quite tired in some way
As I got out and had a few raindrops on my skin
I thanked him, then rushed home and changed.
