Human Cravings

They met at the intersection of
sex , drugs and rock & roll
where poor bastards sold their souls
whilst wandering between chapters of life.

Hooked on to his own beliefs,
blending heaven and earth
into a gospel redemption song,
he played a sacred role for her.

Mortality and humanity fused
sprawling beauty and kindness,
a mixture of unknown feelings,
a love story waiting to unfold.

For a short time, past, present
and future dwelled in the same hourglass;
seduced by Chronos` incantations,
they had ecstasis and got served catharsis.

The fling that was more than just a fling
still triggers a quivering mass of emotions;
each time she slips away, losing control,
she hopes to find the same anchor.

People come and go into our lives for one reason or another. Some teach us how to count our blessings, others simply hold our hand and guide us through the darkness or help us heal and grow.

Our mind, thoughts and words act as tools, transmitting on a certain frequence our needs and wishes. You may have noticed that each time you found yourself at a crossroad, someone or something came along and provided you the help you needed.

It might have been a physical need, an emotional problem or a spiritual issue - whatever it was, you had guidance. That guidance could have embraced different forms, from a phone call, a sentence, a speech to a shoulder to cry on or a relationship, you name it!

Once the moment the crisis has passed and the need was met, the guide's work was finished and you went separate ways. (This in case you have accepted, learnt the lesson you were supposed to learn and have grown.)

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing is an accident. You are given choices and there is always a way out from any situation. Religious people say that God never gives more than you can handle.
