Leveling up

And...we have levels.

Hive account@thatgermandude had initial idea for LUV levels like Lover, Cupid, etc. This would be similar to how HiveBuzz has red fish, minnow, dolphin, orca, and whale.

Hive account@zonadigital21 suggested the levels be named Crush, Connected, Cupid, Romeo, and a top level. I think the idea was to be like the steps of falling in love: you've got that crush on someone who doesn't know you exist, then you say hello and make a connection, then the love bug bites with Cupid's arrow, Romeo and Juliet level is full-on in love, and the highest level of love is hard to put a name onto. It contains puppy love or romantic love, but it also holds everything else about love that exists on a deeper level.

I (Hive account@crrdlx) added the Cooties level. I'm not sure how widespread "cooties" are across cultures, but it's a child's view of all the lovey-dovey, kissy-smoochie stuff. Yuck! Cooties!

Percentages are based on the time of this writing. Currently, the LUV richlist reveals there are 1718 wallets holding some positive amount of LUV.

These levels are mostly for bragging rights and the fun of it.

Also, these numbers will change eventually. Here's why: LUV is growing and every day more LUV is being sent around the chain...this is great and this is the goal! As LUV grows and as more and more LUV is emitted, it will become easier and easier to reach a higher level. Just as $100 a century ago was hard to get one's hands onto, it's much easier today. If a level is too easy to reach, then it really isn't a next-level-up, is it? So, the numbers will change down the road at some point. This means you might be at Cupid level today, but wind up back at Connected level in six months. The one exception is LUV Legend level...once a legend, always a legend!

I don't want to put the cart-before-the-horse, but...I've applied for a LUV Legend badge. Stay tuned. If that comes to fruition, that would be a true badge of honor!
