CBW: comparto mis reflexiones [Esp+Eng]

Intro

Estas semanas he reflexionado en gran medida, sobre la importancia de haber estado 4 días seguidos en la Caracas Blockchain Week (CBW) en el Centro Cultural BOD, con la increíble comunidad de Hivers y con tanta gente admirable del mundo blockchain y Web3.

Las oportunidades no son un azar, las vamos creando en la medida que podemos sumergirnos en las cosas que más nos gustan y Hive es un espacio donde las opciones son diversas e infinitas. Este año ha sido muy movido, logré participar en 7 eventos de Hive Barquisimeto previos al CBW, que me permitieron abrir mi mente "más allá del blog", lema que quedó en mí luego de estar en mi primer Hiver Creators Day, todo esto ha sido una experiencia estupenda y siento que no se detiene esta ola expansiva de vivencias.

El próximo 2 de diciembre se cumple un mes desde que se realizó la CBW, esta es mi primera publicación desde la clausura, ¿por qué han pasado tantas semanas sin publicar?, quiero contar que asumí otras actividades laborares de abordaje de campo; he estado en proceso de mudanzas, viajes, adaptación a nuevos territorios, todo esto ha ocurrido inmediatamente al terminar la maravillosa jornada, que tuvimos la oportunidad de participar durante los primeros de noviembre.

Estas semanas, sin duda he estado exhausta y parcialmente feliz, porque aún juego con el tiempo para hacer cosas que me gustan y equilibrar con otras responsabilidades, así que aquí he estado asumiendo nuevos retos y estoy feliz de por fin publicar nuevamente el reinicio de contenidos que he estado preparando con nuevos enfoques.

Mi testimonial de la CBW: Aprender-haciendo

Logré participar en el CBW gracias a todos los esfuerzos que conté en mi post anterior, sentí que ha sido todo un privilegio estar entre tanta gente que impulsa proyectos innovadores en la nueva generación del internet y que apuesta por las nuevas economías.

Como ya muchos habrán explicado, la CBW contó con muchas actividades en los diversos stands y salas de conferencias, aun cuando no logré ingresar a todas las actividades, puedo decir que se abordaron contenidos de gran relevancia desde el espacio inaugural hasta la clausura, con una amplia agenda que estuvo divida en: el Bitcoin Stage (escenario central más formal), que abarcó temas asociados al trading, bitcoin, alcances, oportunidades, tendencias, perspectivas en Latinoamérica y el mundo sobre la Web3, las criptomonedas, NFTs, exchanges, el potencial de las DeFi, la adopción y/o regulación de los Estados en el uso de criptomonedas; es de resaltar que hubo participación de Hive en escena donde nuestros speakers brillaron con sus aportes.

El evento también contó con otro espacio educativo, denominado Beincrypto Stage, donde estuvieron nuestros principales speakers de Hive, lugar en el que se abordó diversos temas, este espacio contó con una dinámica más cercana e interactiva sobre charlas, experiencias y las buenas prácticas de todos los temas que conciernen a las oportunidades de la web3, la blockchain y las criptomonedas.

Asimismo, estuve aprendiendo sobre avances tecnológicos en algunos stands del Magmaverse y canguro, donde tuve la oportunidad de adentrarme a la simulación de la realidad virtual y comprender sus alcances, ratificando lo importante y necesario de conocer la constante evolución de la tecnología a la que tenemos, progresivamente acceso en Venezuela, aunque sabemos aún faltan grandes esfuerzos por mejorar y ampliar oportunidades porque la evolución digital y las conexiones son de gran velocidad en otras partes del mundo.

También, participé en algunas actividades interactivas, ponencias, realicé algunas conexiones con quienes se interesaban en Hive, había gran interés en algunas personas, que se acercaron curiosas a preguntar por el simple hecho de estar identificada con parte del merch de Hive, esto era una acción satisfactoria, ya que les hablaba de la comunidad desde mi experiencia, a su vez los invitaba a visitar nuestros stands y conocer más de Hive. No asumí directamente atribuciones en el stand, porque de principio mi visita no estaba planificada, puesto que me había ganado la entrada y decidí asistir por cuenta propia, sin embargo, me involucré y aporté en otros procesos muy gratificantes.

Hive en la CBW

Durante esta jornada aprendí de cada persona con quién tuve la oportunidad de conversar, particularmente todas esas humanidades de Hive con las que compartí, de quienes son un libro abierto. La clave para mí siempre es preguntar y escuchar hasta de las dudas más mínimas, me encanta aprender sobre los avances, criterios y otras informaciones de interés. Esto agrega valor y más complejidad a los procesos de aprendizaje sobre Hive y me retan a trascender en el conocimiento y la experiencia.

En medio de la CBW, un evento donde predomina el interés por el enfoque en las finanzas o el comportamiento del mercado mundial de las crypto, noté que los potenciales de Hive son "más allá de un mero interés monetario", promueven una gran relevancia en la filosofía de la propiedad y el desarrollo de la blockchain mediante la infraestructura de innovación para el futuro que está aquí en nuestras manos.

Precisamente, unos días antes de la CBW me habían restringido mi cuenta de Instagram por un error masivo en el mundo y mientras estuve en un evento de esta magnitud fue más que propicio, me encantó sentir y decir con orgullo que “yo estoy en Hive”, que si bien no es la única solución, es la alternativa para mitigar todas las situaciones de restricción de nuestras identidades digitales.

Hive tiene un valor de lo exclusivo, lo que ha logrado luego de su bifurcación, un hecho que marcó un hito y ha venido escribiendo su propia historia, creciendo hasta ahora, aun en sus contradicciones, porque de eso estamos hechos los seres humanos, pero mejorado en sus propios avances y ofreciendo oportunidades en su increíble ecosistema, así que cuando logras estar en un evento como este, te das cuenta de su fuerza y de las cosas que aún tenemos como retos para construir y mejorar.

Rostros de Hive

El contacto online une el mundo, el proceso offline permite la cercanía de conocer quién está detrás de cada pantalla, es el contacto más allá del internet y en un evento como la CBW permitió generar oportunidades de promoción de Hive y poder conocer tantos rostros humanos y emotivos, eso ha sido una experiencia incomparable, por lo tanto, quiero resumir en cada foto que comparto pero sin etiquetar a nadie por respeto, porque ya durante este mes se que han habido muchas menciones, pero si quiero generar tributo y agradecimiento por el compartir, las sonrisas, las conversas, la estima, las historias de vida de las que solté algunas lágrimas en momentos de compartir y aprovechar estos espacios para fortalecer nuestros vínculos como comunidad.

Mi respeto: El rostro de la mujer en la blockchain

Algo que me encanta del mundo blockchain es que las mujeres ya estamos aquí, por eso quiero hacer una especial mención en esta sección, porque durante la jornada hubo una gran participación de las mujeres y que justo en un panel de mujeres de la CBW el host preguntó: ¿qué se necesita hacer para promover la inclusión de la mujer en la tecnología blockchain?, a lo que la panelista respondió:

¡Qué ridículo!, respondió con tanta firmeza, durante el debate y afirmó lo siguiente: "necesitamos respetar a las mujeres y reconocer que ya estamos aportando a la Web3 y construyendo la blockchain". Mariangel García.

Su posición me pareció contundente porque haber estado 4 días en Caracas interactuando durante este gran evento, se notó la descomunal presencia de mujeres programadoras, creadoras de contenido, artistas NFT,s como Eva Cortez quién inició sus procesos creativos en Hive, gamers y muchas otras gestoras quienes impulsan la nueva generación del internet, las nuevas tecnologías y economías, especialmente de nuestra comunidad de Hive que tuvo gran participación, de la que me siento muy orgullosa y feliz de formar parte.

Las mujeres de Hive

Solamente, en las charlas de Hive estuvieron 3 mujeres admirables en representación, más todo el mar de gente que acompañamos esta jornada entre los stands, las visitas tanto de Caracas como del interior del país, los apoyos audiovisuales, la logística y otros rostros de mujeres y hombres, porque de eso se trata, caminar juntos como humanidad que comparte un mismo propósito desde diversas capacidades.

A veces, parece que cuando se habla del tema de la mujer, se asume que aún estamos aisladas, ciertamente todavía se requiere de un esfuerzo titánico para ampliar oportunidades en sectores más vulnerables del mundo, no obstante las opciones están, incluso ya hay mujeres aprovechándolas, creando desde sus capacidades y eso merece un mérito.

Sin duda, me encantó que durante este mega evento de la CBW hubo espacios para todos los gustos y diversidades, opciones para aprender y conectar, disposición de enseñar, de compartir, de saber que podemos construir cosas comunes a pesar de cualquier elemento diferencial, especialmente que tanto las mujeres y los hombres somos protagonistas de esta historia y es nuestro compromiso ir de la mano con respeto y admiración.

Valor del lenguaje

Durante mis días en la CBW junto a Hive, reflexioné continuamente sobre mi lugar en la blockchain, aun cuando soy de las nuevas generaciones en Hive y me queda un largo trecho por aprender, de las cosas que más me enamora de estar aquí es la exigencia constante que para construir lo nuevo, demanda nueva cultura, nuevos códigos, nuevas formas de comunicar con las cuales nos apropiamos para conectar con las personas y transmitir un mensaje, por tanto, es indispensable prestar atención a qué comunicamos y cómo lo hacemos a través de un lenguaje que sume, sea conciliador y trascienda, que evite confusiones y ayude a que Hive sea cada vez más cercano, tanto que las personas ingresen al ecosistema y progresivamente conecten por sus potenciales y su fuerza, eso es posible aún en la complejidad de Hive. Estoy convencida que podemos continuar construyendo líneas discursivas simples, sencillas y didáctica, asumirlo como un desafio creativo donde la palabra es la clave y el poder está en nuestras manos.

Sin duda me sentí feliz de haber estado esos días en este gran evento, además muy agradecida por todo el apoyo, la estima y la confianza de mi querido team de Hive Creators, Hive Barquisimeto, Humanitas y tanta gente bonita que le da vida a Hive y que además nos apoya en cada espacio, porque reitero no somos nada en Hive sin la comunidad.

Gracias por todo el cariño, los obsequios, por la oportunidad de poder contribuir este tiempo para sumar de manera individual y colectiva, en la oportunidad de aprender mientras estamos construyendo en este gran espacio donde hay mucho por hacer.

Intro

These weeks I have reflected, to a large extent, on the importance of having been 4 days in a row at the BOD Cultural Center, with the incredible community of Hivers and with so many admirable people from the blockchain and Web3 world.

Opportunities are not random, we create them as we can immerse ourselves in the things we like the most and Hive is a space where the options are diverse and infinite. This year has been very busy, I have participated in 7 Hive Barquisimeto events, prior to the CBW, which allowed me to open my mind "beyond the blog", motto that stayed with me after being in my first Hiver Creators Day, all this has been a great experience and I feel that this expansive wave of experiences does not stop.

Next December 2nd will be a month since the Caracas Blockchain Week (CBW) took place, this is my first publication since the closing, why have so many weeks passed without publishing, I want to tell you that I took on other work activities of field approach; I have been in the process of moving, traveling, adapting to new territories, all this has happened immediately after finishing the wonderful day, which we had the opportunity to participate during the first days of November.

These weeks, without a doubt I have been exhausted and partially happy, because I still play with the time to do things I like and balance with other responsibilities, so here I have been taking on new challenges and objectives and I am happy to finally publish again the restart of contents that I have been preparing with new approaches.

My CBW testimonial: Learning-by-doing

I managed to participate in the CBW thanks to all the efforts that I told in my previous post, I felt that it has been a privilege to be among so many people who drive innovative projects in the new generation of the internet and who bet on new economies.

As many have already explained, the CBW had many activities in the various stands and conference rooms, even though I did not manage to enter all the activities, I can say that there were very relevant contents from the inaugural space to the closing, with a broad agenda divided in the Bitcoin Stage (more formal central stage), which covered topics related to trading, bitcoin, scopes, opportunities, trends, perspectives in Latin America and the world on Web3, cryptocurrencies, NFTs, exchanges, the potential of DeFi, the adoption and/or regulation of the States in the use of cryptocurrencies; It is noteworthy that Hive participated on stage where our speakers shined with their contributions.

The event also had another educational space, called Beincrypto Stage, where our main Hive speakers were, a place where various topics were addressed, this space had a closer and interactive dynamic about talks, experiences and good practices of all topics concerning the opportunities of web3, blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

Also, I was learning about technological advances in some stands of the Magmaverse and Canguro, where I had the opportunity to enter the simulation of virtual reality and understand its scope, ratifying how important and necessary to know the constant evolution of technology to which we have, progressively access in Venezuela, although we know there are still great efforts to improve and expand opportunities because the digital evolution and connections are voloces in other parts of the world.

Also, I participated in some award activities, explanations and presentations, I made some connections with those who were interested in Hive, there was great interest in some people, who approached curious to ask for the simple fact of being identified with part of the merch of Hive, this was a rewarding action, I didn't assume directly attributions in the stand because in principle my visit was not planned, since I had won the ticket and decided to attend on my own, however, I got involved and contributed in other very gratifying processes.

Hive at CBW

During this journey I learned so many things, especially from each person with whom I had the opportunity to talk, particularly all those Hive humanities with whom I shared, from whom I never finish learning. The key for me is always to ask and listen to even the smallest doubts, I love to learn about advances, criteria and other information of interest, which although they continue to add complexity to the learning process about Hive, at the same time challenge me to transcend more knowledge and experience.

In the midst of CBW, an event where interest in the focus on finance or the behavior of the global crypto market predominates, I noticed that the potentials of Hive are "beyond a mere monetary interest", they promote a great relevance in the philosophy of ownership and the development of blockchain through innovation infrastructure for the future that is here in our hands.

Precisely, a few days before CBW I had my Instagram account restricted due to a massive error in the world and while I was at an event of this magnitude it was more than conducive, I was delighted to feel and proudly say that "I am on Hive", which while not the only solution, is the alternative to mitigate all situations of restriction of our digital identities.

Hive has a value of the exclusive, what it has achieved after its bifurcation, an event that marked a milestone and has been writing its own history, growing until now, even in its contradictions, because that's what we humans are made of, but improved in its own advances and offering opportunities in its incredible ecosystem, so when you get to be in an event like this, you realize its strength and the things we still have as challenges to build and improve.

Human faces of Hive

The online contact unites the world, the offline process allows the closeness of knowing who is behind each screen, it is the contact beyond the internet and in an event like the CBW allowed to generate opportunities to promote Hive and to meet so many human and emotional faces, that has been an incomparable experience, therefore, I want to summarize in each photo that I share below and without labeling anyone out of respect because during this month there have been many mentions, but I want to generate tribute and gratitude for the sharing, the smiles, the conversations, the esteem, the life stories of which I let out some tears in moments of sharing and take advantage of these spaces to strengthen our ties as a community.

My respect: The face of women in blockchain

Something I love about the blockchain world is that we women are already here, that's why I want to make a special mention in this section, because during the day there was a great participation of women and that just in a panel of women from CBW the host asked: what needs to be done to promote the inclusion of women in blockchain technology, to which the panelist responded:

How ridiculous, she responded so firmly, during the discussion and stated the following: "we need to respect women and recognize that we are already contributing to Web3 and building the blockchain." Mariangel Garcia.

His position seemed convincing to me because having been 4 days in Caracas interacting during this great event, the huge presence of women programmers, content creators, NFT artists, such as Eva Cortez who started her creative processes in Hive, gamers and many other managers who drive the new generation of the internet, new technologies and economies, especially our Hive community that had great participation, of which I am very proud and happy to be part of.

The women of Hive

Only, in the Hive talks there were 3 admirable women in representation, plus all the sea of people that accompanied this day between the stands, the visits both from Caracas and from the interior of the country, the audiovisual supports, the logistics and other faces of women and men, because that is what it is all about, walking together as humanity that shares the same purpose from diverse capacities.

Sometimes, it seems that when we talk about women, it is assumed that we are still isolated, certainly still requires a titanic effort to expand opportunities in more vulnerable sectors of the world, however the options are there, there are even women taking advantage of them, creating from their capabilities and that deserves merit.

Undoubtedly, I loved that during this mega CBW event there were spaces for all tastes and diversities, options to learn and connect, willingness to teach, to share, to know that we can build common things despite any differential element, especially that both women and men are protagonists of this story and it is our commitment to go hand in hand with respect and admiration.

Value of language

During my days at CBW together with Hive, I continuously reflected on my place in the blockchain, even though I am of the new generations in Hive and I have a long way to go to learn, of the things that I love most about being here is the constant demand that to build the new, it demands new culture, new codes, new ways of communicating with which we appropriate to connect with people and convey a message, therefore, it is essential to pay attention to what we communicate and how we do it through a language that adds, is conciliatory and transcends, that avoids confusion and helps Hive to be increasingly closer, so that people enter the ecosystem and progressively connect through their potential and strength, this is possible even in the complexity of Hive, we can continue to build simple, simple and didactic discursive lines, it is a creative challenge where the word is the key and the power is in our hands.
