ONLY ONE - Only one photo, a moment, a history, a perspective.

(D) Die scheinbar unberührte Natur Süd Georgiens ist nicht vom Menschen verschont geblieben. Überall findet man alte und verlassene Walfangstationen, wo Schiffe, ehemalige Behausungen oder Fabrikanlagen (zu) langsam verfallen. Dieses zurückgelassene Frack eines Walfängers habe ich bei einem Landgang während einer Servicepause in der Bucht Grytviken (Südgeorgien) aufgenommen.

(ENG) The seemingly untouched nature of South Georgia has not been spared by man. Everywhere you can find old and abandoned whaling stations, where ships, former dwellings or factories are (too) slowly decaying. I took this left-behind tailcoat of a whaler during a service break and shore leave in the bay Grytviken (South Georgia).

(ESP) La naturaleza aparentemente intacta de Georgia del Sur no se ha librado del hombre. Por todas partes se encuentran estaciones balleneras antiguas y abandonadas, donde barcos, antiguas viviendas o fábricas se descomponen (demasiado) lentamente. Tomé este frac abandonado de un ballenero durante un descanso de servicio y un permiso de tierra en la bahía Grytviken (Georgias del Sur).
